Dr. Mohan's journey in medicine began at Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, where she cultivated a dream of developing organ transplant services in India.

Recognizing the pressing need for pediatric liver care, she pursued Further training in Pediatric gastroenterology & hepatology at AIIMS-Delhi and specialized in pediatric liver transplantation in the UK (Birmingham children university).

Upon her return to India in 1999, Dr. Mohan set out to fulfill her dream of establishing a world-class liver transplant program in her homeland.

Her pioneering spirit is evident in her numerous firsts in liver transplantation, pediatric hepatology, and gastroenterology in India. She established the country's first dedicated department in these fields, and her efforts have led to the creation of structured training programs for young doctors, significantly improving healthcare delivery for children nationwide.
